A cafe right on the water with views of Amanohashidate.

As you can see from the name of the restaurant, which is called "Pin," which is the French word for "pine," Amanohashidate’s lush pine forest is spread out across the bay windows. Surrounded by the calm inland sea and canals, Cafe du Pin is a relaxing space to watch boats passing by or absorb yourself in a book. The rare rotating bridge that connects the mainland to Amanohashidate rotates 90 degrees every time a ship passes and can be seen from the restaurant. The rotation is intermittent but if you are lucky enough to see it, be sure to get a picture of the event. The staple drink here is Dutch coffee. In addition, sandwiches, Amanohashidate Winery wine, tea and marc tea made with dried grape skin and seeds, and rice flour bread. We are also happy to see popular products from our sister stores, such as the sweets of Chitose Teahouse like wisdom mochi. The cafe is open for lunch only.

Amanohashidate’s scenery is beautiful in every weather, and from the windows of Cafe du Pin, customers can experience the region’s four seasons from the comfort of our tables. We have Wi-Fi as well, which makes it a perfect spot for travelers and business nomads who want to relax and work at the same time. In addition to the cafe menu, the cafe offers a morning meal of rice flour toast and a lunch menu that changes daily. When visiting Amanohashidate, feel free to drop in.
